You keep up as you have ever been,

the years sent the old age into exile.
Freshness reigns in your eyes,



though life never gave love to pass.



I see you walking proudly,

among people like a silent victor.

The youth, the biggest word ever loved

on every cell of yours is carved.



Your body perfectly forged by God

which is envied even by a cypress,

is kneeled only before Christ,

to ask for more grace inside.



But you have what a man needs the most,

the youth, by which even life is blessed .

That which Eve’s sin banished us

is gifted to you by God all your life.

On the icy sand you walk,

the storm follows you behind.

Then the fear meets the hope,

a vanished flower shouts: “ Mind!’’



You swirl in a whirl,

which is called reality.

The light of a star gets life

in its conic end of mortality.



The haziness is ending up

oh sly time, which makes us moan!

The vanished flower blooms

its white stands as a crown .

I hadn’t the heart to refuse

and I lost myself in you.

Now I am so confused,

in my life what to do.



I saw you like a star

shining for me night and day.

In the fullness of your heart,

I searched a corner with you to stay.



Loneliness is a matter of feeling,

time hanging heavy on my hands.

The voice of my heart I’m listening,

now I have turned onto myself.

weigh anchor at dawn

and will sail down the river by noon,

to break the serenity

of the sky, the Sun to replace

with the Moon.



Mountains and fields to blow down,

the waves of the sea to throw away,

to say how much I love you,

forever in the depths of your heart

to stay.

rushed to get shelter from the rain.

THE STRANGE TEACHER





He is 59 years old. The snow of the life has covered his little hair on his head slightly bald on the top. He is a short man about 1.59 meters tall with a white face and blue eyes. Maybe in his youth he was a blonde. It is difficult to see his eyes because he keeps them always down. He doesn’t speak much either and you can hardly see a smile on his face. He is so stingy even in the clothes he wears. He buys his suits on cheap sales. He rarely changes his suits. In the summer he wears a blue suit and in winter a black coat with a green suit. His body is conquered by the darkness and his face is dismal.

III. Literary appreciation



1. “MINOR THOUGHTS”



How is Panajota Zaloni like? I don’t know her, but I know her verses. The poet takes the role of the poetic subject and in her verses words become dew-drops on the cord of the lyre. The only condolence to her is the poetic gift and when love and affection imprisoned, she calls God. “ Tear the barbed wire!” She is able to steal a cloud. Her heart is deep and full of pain but she become a swallow and she built a nest. Absoluteness is lost in space in the vast depth of the Universe. She says: An announcer of nature and a solver of a soul is the poet. She asked for love in the stars of the night and for silence. Death falling in the distance then time stood in front of her poems and played with the chrysalises inside of the light.
